Blairgowrie - Kerrigan

This shower room refurbishment took place in a beautifully preserved property dating back to the 1700s in Blairgowrie. The existing shower room was outdated and no longer suited to the homeowner’s needs, so it was fully modernised while maintaining a style sympathetic to the character of the building.

Ignite supplied all trades including complete new electrics and plumbing. The team also carried out essential joinery and preparation work, including removing old lath and plaster, insulating the walls, straightening and removing sections where necessary, and fully plasterboarding the room.

The new design is centred around a spacious walk in shower with a rainfall shower head and clean minimal glass screens. Large terrazzo style tiles were used across the walls and floor to create a warm, textured finish. Underfloor heating was installed to provide even warmth throughout the space.

A modern vanity unit with integrated storage and hidden toothbrush and shaver charging points keeps the room clutter free, while a circular LED mirror adds a stylish focal point.
